Hello,
A following to my service secret stuff:
- It does not seem linked much to the vaud state police before may-june 2008. - Between 2002 and 2007, it definitively seems linked to the DDPS / SRS (Strategischer Nachrichtendienst SND), the "agents" close to me being RENATO and GADLU.
The goal of all of this mess:
Infiltrating the internet community (in this experiment, thru me) and get close to people able to engineer traffic spying device, by using the filtrating proxy and anti-pedocriminality "coverup".
The whitebox setup is a perfect setup for illegal spying activities that spying shop are so eager to have under their hands. Don't dream much: they are laws regulating that kind of action, but service secret office people always complain about the hassle to go thru the legal way.
With me, their have been pushing way too far, but beware, they may act more sensibly next time.
I've added some abstract and conclusion to the website, but it's still in french only.

sorry, zorg
1) but if you continue like this we have to think about putting this mailinglist into some kind of moderated mode. we will not allow you to abuse this list for any kind of revenge, for any kind of political fight or any kind of propaganda.
2) you're probably the only guy using a nick name / now showing the real name. do you have to hide something?
3) please read again the charter of swinog (http://www.swinog.ch/charter/index.asp) to get an idea what is this mailinglist - what is swinog for. especially the 3rd bullet might be interesting.
greetings

Steven, Regarding nick name - I was wondering too!
I remember some days before christmas the same url appearing on something with nazi and vaud so I just checked my mailbox - there he was writing as Gaston Shepard.... I still suspect some kind of trolling here.

i think it makes sense to set up the approval for subscription requests, and ban all anonymous users - this makes it fair for everyone.

I hope you all understand, that having something to hide is *not* wrong, but something everybody does.

But when you're taking part in a relatively public and open debate or forum, why would you find it necessary/appropriate to conceal your identity?

For example for disclosing secrets without being punished, aka whistleblowing.

Then I suggest you leave the internet, or just move to a cave in the swiss alps (though that will probably be published somewhere and everybody will know about that too ;)
Otherwise, please tell me your root password and your account information.
My root password for the last 5 years on several boxes: ff9dca489 Username is 'root' of course.
Nothing to hide. Then again I've proper ACLs in place and actually SSH doesn't accept passwords, only keys thus there is no place to use them anyway.
IMHO Like every other *NOG, RIR, IETF etc list, there is no need for 'anonymous' people. If one wants to be 'anonymous' and shout and cry about things, go to Full-Disclosure: http://lists.grok.org.uk/full-disclosure-charter.html
BTW, for people thinking that they can 'hide' @gmail.com, do please remember that there are is quite a large office of Google in downtown Zurich and various people from there are on this list and just might have access to the the details that are stupidly hidden by it's mailer headers, and as everybody knows Google knows a lot more about you and me than that...

Guys,
You are spending time and energy with someone that does not have anything constructive to bring here. It's time to make a stand.
Either we limit this list now (and legitimate users will be able to use it anyway), either we ignore such messages ; giving them any kind of attention is entering their game and that is all what they want.
Have a lovely week.
