Hmm, strange... I mean it's normal that L2 deactivates... But the router should activate again (renegotiate TEI) if another call takes place (and yours is not) And in debug output, nothing seems to happen. Looks to me at he first glance as a local problem to the router...

Try once the additional command on the BRI interface :

isdn tei-negotiation preserve

If that does not help, try again to establish a call with the following debig option turned on :

debug isdn q921

debug isdn q931

debug isdn events

debug bri

I have set up a webpage with two debug-logs: http://www.rubis.ch/isdn.html

In the first case, I reset the interface and trigger the dial-out immediatly. Everything works fine.

In the second case, I reset the interface and wait for the disconnect of Layer 2. Then I trigger the dial-out which wont work.
