Hello Swinog, Question for all carrier, which device do you use to deliver fttx or metro ethernet direct to the customer ? Uplink provider in InterXion / Glattbrugg

Hi Swinoggers we operate a well known website in Switzerland and considering to upgrade our uplink from 100 to at least 200 Mbit. The offer of our current provider Swisscom is not too attractive and I am looking for a better offer ;) As I normally do not have to deal with uplink providers I would be happy to get some input from you. The basic needs are: - at least 200 Mbit guaranteed bandwidth (symmetric/not burst) - a /28 IPv4 network (a /27 would be better and keeps the status quo) - a good connectivity/latency for swiss audience - decent reaction times in case of problems - available in InterXion/Glattbrugg Do you have a recommendation for me? Hey, So for anybody who wrote me: I got the issue that whenever I did some change on my switch (e.g rebooting a server!) the whole network was getting CC errors http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst4500/12-2/50sg/co… I found this in the meantime and I think this multicast flooding sounds like an awful bitch of a functionality Does anybody have experience with this? Does that sound familiar to anyone? I am now investingating further, unfortunately I cannot disable it globally. For all the techies out there, who are interested in digital production like 3d-printing, laser-cutting, cnc-milling or microcontroller programming (like raspi or arduino), the non-profit association FabLab Winti is building a FabLab in Winterthur.
