Cablecom / UPC mail anomalies?

I'm seeing two mails which are being sent over and over again, sometimes two to four times almost simultanously. The session somehow does not complete (times out on our side). The mails are being sent from various viefep<xx>-int.chello.at mail servers with @hispeed.ch sender addresses and are both over 2MB. Anybody else seeing this sort of behaviour? hi customers phoned me that they could not send emails anymore. needed to switch to port 587. now heard from others that swisscom is blocking port 25 ??? what the heck is going on ? - Thomas

EDU-Whiltelist tries to create a white list of European academic mail hosts which do not send out spam. The use of the list is free to everybody. To join the list a participant has to satisfy a number of conditions, that ensure only organisations with good track records are listed. hi all we're planning for SwiNOG-20 (please see also mail about "Call for Sponsors"). so, date is not yet clear, but we're asking already for some papers. If you feel that sharing your knowledge and experience can make a significant contribution to the network community, don’t hesitate to send your topic! if you're interested to give a technical presentation (15-45minutes) please submit your idea to swinog-core(a)swinog.ch. The submissions will be discussed by the SwiNOG Core team, so the dead line for them is end of march.
