Hello Mailinglist I have a small question I could not find out how to solve yet. I am writing a small app which is build on PHP. Goals are: 1) Authentication by Kerberos, on W2k3 attached. Or is it a setting on the LDAP Server? This is a standard LDAP Server from Active Directory, and the userlist is also small (10, 15 users) Thank you if anyone has a clue Silvan

Graphical NetFlow AS stats tool?

Hello, does anybody on this list know of a free/open source tool that collects NetFlow AS aggregation records from a number of routers and produces traffic graphs per AS that show how much traffic came in from or went out to a given AS, and over which link (-> multiple upstreams/peering links)? I'm asking because I've made something like that on a whim for Monzoon Networks to help with BGP traffic engineering, and would be happy to polish it up a bit and then release it, but if the solution is already out there (and better than what I've come up with ;), I wouldn't bother. Connecting Issues Bluewin -> Google?

Hi guys are there any known issues in connecting google.ch from Bluewin ADSL. I got a call from a customer and he said he couldn't reach google.ch. So i've done a traceroute an it is getting until some ip-plus router at tix... Can anyone confirm this? Regards André

WAN Concepts

Evening ladies & gents, I was forwarded to your list while looking for template WAN concepts. Im currently on my HF technician degree and for the 5th semester we are supposed to create a WAN concept. Since my IT background is more on the 2nd, 3rd level support and financial IT side its quite difficult to get the a structure and content set up for this WAN concept. I mean I think I know more or less what needs to be in the document, but it would still be nice to have a few templates to compare and maybe pick the one or the other content idea. I already searched the net but the documents that you can find googeling or yahooing (to mention 2 of them) are incomplete or just drafts in very early stages... Does anyone have the one or the other document he or she might want to share? Many thanks in advance for any kind of help. Nach längerem zögern und eigener dichterischer Arbeit dachte ich mir, ich frage mal die Gurus des Faches. Einer dieser Gurus hat mich an Eure Liste weitergeleitet. Hätten Sie ältere WAN Konzepte die Sie unter Umständen zu Akademischen Zwecken herausgeben könnten? Falls nötig und erwünscht könnte man die Nahmen und Angaben der Firmen ändern und diese mit fiktive Namen ersetzen. Ich hoffe Sie können vielleicht das eine oder andere Dokument freigeben. I'm looking for some solution to improve response time / save some bandwidth in windows (file sharing) environment. Like Juniper WXC or Riverbed products. Juniper WXC is a new name for Peribit traffic compressors which Juniper has acquired few years ago. I worked with Peribit devices, and I should say it's an excellent product quality in terms of manageability, performance and features. You can save up to 50% or more bandwidth on Windows filesharing and MS Exchange traffic, and also provide some QoS to response-sensitive applications, like SAP.
