crypto performance of cisco 2800 series vs AIM-VPN/SSL2

hi all we're troubleshooting some performance issues on a cisco 2801 with onboard crypto engine (not with an additional AIM-VPN/SSL2). the problem is that in the DMVPN setup (crypted tunnel) we have a thruput of around 4mbit with 90% of CPU. according to the cisco specs we should reach 30-40mbit of encrypted traffic... but our tests are ... well.. not that positive... do you have made similar experiences? so, does someone has a AIM-VPN/SSL2 for a cisco 2800series around which we could lend … [View More]

Hi, Is here anyone who uses the SHDSL / SHDSL.bis technology? ZyXEL IES1000 - IES5000 DSLAM chasis and SLC1216 - SLC1248-22 line cards? We have a few problems with lineprobing / rate adaption and crc errors. Or does anyone know a good paper about Signal-to-Noise Margin lineprobing / rate adaption? how to figure out the best value. try and fail doesn't work :( thanks in advance and best regards marco

Wir haben folgendes festgestellt. routing zu 195.2.228.1 von Cybernet aus, direkt via swissIX sehr gute ping zeiten. ab Bluewin geht es via tiscali.net und dort happerts...300ms und mehr. Die frage nun: Warum geht Bluewin nach SolNet via Tiscali und nicht auch direkt über swissIX ? Danke für eine Antwort. Gruss Rolf
