sbb.ch unresponsive on IPv6 for HTTP(S)

Hey all This might not be 100% the correct place to ask this but since the SBB contact form didn't yield any results, I'll try here. Maybe someone from SBB who knows someone who can do something about this reads the list. There are A and AAAA records for sbb.ch: $ dig AAAA sbb.ch +short 2a00:4bc0:ffff:9::c296:f58e $ dig A sbb.ch +short 194.150.245.142 However, on port 80 and 443 I only get a response on IPv4, a 301 to http(s)://www.sbb.ch. On IPv6 it just times out without any response: $ curl -6 https://sbb.ch -v * Host sbb.ch:443 was resolved. * IPv6: 2a00:4bc0:ffff:9::c296:f58e * IPv4: (none) * Trying [2a00:4bc0:ffff:9::c296:f58e]:443... * connect to 2a00:4bc0:ffff:9::c296:f58e port 443 from 2001:8e0:1426:1:47d6:12fd:bc19:5704 port 55992 failed: Connection timed out * Failed to connect to sbb.ch port 443 after 133922 ms: Could not connect to server * closing connection #0 curl: (28) Failed to connect to sbb.ch port 443 after 133922 ms: Could not connect to server tcpdump doesn't show any response packets at all. This is mainly an issue on our IPv6-only clients where we use DNS64/NAT64. So the preferred solution would be for someone to fix IPv6. However, removing the AAAA DNS record would also solve the issue because then the resolver generates a DNS64 response and we connect to IPv4 over NAT64. Hope someone can help. It's a bit of a shot in the dark. Let me know it this is completely inappropriate to be posted on this list. Thanks and regards Beni

Facebook Account blocked / Legal Contact Swiss

Hi I know, it’s perhaps not the right/correct place to post this, but I hope, that some of the (bigger) ISP probably stumbled over such issues and know, which (legal) way is possible for swiss user. I had a personal account Facebook Account and decided to let it be deleted through Facebook in 2023, since I din’t have used it to much. During our travels, we noted, that many places around the world only have a facebook page instead of (old style) webpage. So I decided to recreate my Facebook account. Unfortunately, I missed a confirmation mail (the only mail from facebook, which went to the spam folder). When I later saw it and clicked it, I got a message, that my account has been temporarily disabled and I have 180 day to proof my Identity by video call. At first, I wanted to do that, but decided two weeks later during travel and again unable to access some local Restaurants Facebook site, to do the video call. After I did that, I received within minutes the information, that my account has definitely blocked and I can’t ask Facebook to recheck the decision, instead, if my country has some instances, which I can ask for help. As I found out later, this seems some kind of AI issue, where people get blocked from Facebook for no obvious reason. Personal, I find this unacceptable, that someone is blocked for now reason and there is no contact on Facebook site, where someone can ask to review this decision. Instead, you have to ask a Laywer. WFT! But since there are so many „Free“ Facebook sites from small Business/Restaurant all around the world and some interesting groups, with valuable information, I would really like to have an account, so I can access those information. So, hence I ask here, if someone knew, which organization in Switzerland can help with such an issue. Attached, you can see the message, which is greeting me, when I try to login to Facebook. Cyon public Blacklist usage

Dear all, One of our residential customers is no longer able to reach his domain hosted by Cyon. According to their support, this is caused by a bad score from RBLs. A quick check shows that these RBLs are dedicated to mail, not hosting. Did I miss a new magic bullet in the hosting scene where scoring is used for website access? Update to .CH and .LI Zone Publication Schedule

Dear community, We would like to inform you of an update to the publication schedule of the .CH and .LI TLD zone data. To support faster recovery from technical misconfigurations (e.g., DNSSEC key rollovers or nameserver changes), the zone publication frequency has been increased as follows: Previous: Once per hour, at the full hour (:00) New: Every 30 minutes, at :00 and :30 This change has been rolled out today and is now in effect. In addition, dynamic delegation TTL adjustments have been in place since 18 November 2025 to further improve recovery times. When delegation information (NS or DS records) is created or updated - including new registrations and delegation changes - the delegation TTL is temporarily reduced from the default of 1 hour to 15 minutes for a period of 12 hours. This enables corrected delegation configurations to propagate more quickly. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
