Dear SwiNOGgers, and in particular those who peer with us (Switch),
we have finally gotten around to implementing the recommendation[1] to
use "hierarchical" names for our as-set in the RIPE RR/DB. So instead
of "AS-SWITCH", we now use "AS559:AS-SWITCH". Please update your filter
generation accordingly if you peer with us.
Our PeeringDB entry[2] and AS559 policy in the RIPE DB have been updated
accordingly.
Thank you & best regards,

Simon.

Hi there!
As some of you know, i’m (again) the owner of the mhs.ch <http://mhs.ch/> domain - yeee! :-)
This domain was used for endusers in the @free.mhs.ch subdomain in the past. Some of these clients still have a …(a)free.mhs.ch address connected with their Swisscom account, even after the addresses were cancelled (what a shame!) by the then-owner of mhs.ch <http://mhs.ch/> years ago.
I try to find these customers to help them, getting a mail-forward or simply a chance to change their Swisscom accounts to the new address.
Can someone at Swisscom please get in touch with me? I don’t want the phone numbers of these customers, but i suggest that someone at Swisscom gives them a call to help solving the problem.
Thanks,
Matthias
BTW: The Swisscom shop i’ve visited tried to help, but has no access to the database when only the e-mail address is know.
