Hey all
A friend just told me that Cybernet told him there is a Switzerlandwide Internet Problem.
Does anybody know something?
Cheers

Hi all!
I was wondering who is using Greylisting in their compangny, and if yes,
do they receive any complaints from customers about latency or not
deliverance of mail?
Thanks for answer

Hallo Marco
AS Pfade filtern (z.B.

anschliessen? Beide zumindest bei RIPE genannten, künftigen Upstreams
sind ja bereits Teilnehmer am SwissIX.

Hello Everybody
Does someone know the Abuse contact for Yahoo Small Business? Telephone
Number would be great as I didn't get any reply when filling out the
online form nor writing to abuse(a)yahoo.com.
The Problem is that some criminal is using orangepromo.org for scamming
users (no content there, he seems to use just the mail addresses). The
site is hosted within yahoo's small-business.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Hi Leo,
I noticed that KPN is not on the list...
KPN can also offer IPv6 Transit Services in Switzerland. If you pass on my details I would be very grateful.
Kind Regards

Hi,
I am at ITU World in Geneva and have just spoken to a gentleman who wants to buy IPv6 transit for his multi-homed network. I'd like to e-mail him a list of ISPs that offer IPv6 transit services but don't think I know all the Swiss ISPs offering it at the moment.
Is there a list I can point him at? If not, if people selling IPv6 transit could send me details I can pass on I would be grateful.
Thanks,
Leo

Hi Bernd
My question was, if the memory is enough. I know, that you wrote, that
for ddos problem, this solution isn't recommended. But I only want to know,
if 512 MB is enough to hold two full routing tables and some prefixes from
swiss-ix. The router will only run bgp and some acl. Also, we will implement
some QoS.
Kind Regards

look for my mails - i would not recommend this solution -
but of course it depends on your bandwith needs -
for very low bandwith and no chance to hold
a ddos you can go with this solution - no problem

Subject: [swinog] Follow Up Full BGP Routing Router Requirments
Hi
As allready requested (see our post from 17.09.), we are looking for a solutions, which will bring
us the possibility to be multi homed and get full routing table from two
isp and peerings to an exchange point.
We now have an offer for an refurbished 7206VXR with NPE-400 and 512 MB Memory. Would that
be enough, to hold two full routing table (if needed) and peerings? We think, there are around
300K prefixes around know, so it should be okay? Right?
We will install two of them (each one connected to one of the upstream provider). Between both, we
will do IBGP. On the router, we just will have BGP, some small ACLs, perhaps some QoS. That's it.
The idea behind that solutions is, that if the NPE-400 wouldn't be enough in 1-2 years, we can
just exchange the NPE-400 against a NPE-G2. Since the NPE-400 is really cheap, we don't lose
too much money, when we will exchange it in 1-2 years.
Thanks for any inputs.
Kind Regards
Patrick Studer
